How Clinch customers will benefit from Google for Jobs

Maura McElhone

Last week, Google rolled out Google for Jobs — a new feature that will see relevant job postings displayed directly in search results. This latest innovation in search pulls in jobs from the major jobs sites across the web and organizes that content in one place, making it faster and easier than ever before for the majority of candidates who begin their search on Google to source new and relevant employment opportunities.

Google for Jobs raises the bar for job search in multiple ways. For example, "for many jobs, you’ll also see reviews and ratings of the employer from trusted sites, right alongside the job description, and if you’re signed in, for some jobs you’ll even see how long it would take to commute to the job from home." Automate your candidate messaging and list management with Workflows in Clinch Talent

Maura McElhone

In Clinch Talent, a Workflow is a series of automated actions that's triggered when a candidate completes a call-to-action. By automating important steps in the "nurture" stage of the recruitment marketing process, Workflows in Clinch Talent allows for more effective, more efficient recruiting overall.

For example, you might have a call-to-action that invites candidates to register interest in attending a recruitment event. With a workflow in place, any/all of the following steps can be carried out automatically once that CTA is completed :

  • a) send a message to the candidate(s)
  • b) add that candidate to a particular list in the Clinch Talent CRM
  • c) send a message to yourself / a colleague / team member to inform that individual that a candidate has completed the call-to-action
